Touch Tech Night- Using iPads for Assessment
Assessment has become almost 50% of the work teachers do on a daily basis. At the Highlander Institute we are looking for ways to reduce the time teachers spend on assessment so that we can increase the time teacher’s spend on direct instruction and intervention.
Join us as we discuss online formative and interim assessment tools that can inform teachers about what needs reteaching, who needs to be challenged, and who needs extra support in the classroom. We will share many iPad apps and web 2.0 tools, but we will also discuss ways to reduce paper and the time that teachers spend on assessments in any given day.
